Volunteering at Hope for Children CRC Policy Center is like diving into an ocean of cultures and stories. You will never come out the same as when you went inside.

During the months spent volunteering here I got to know many people: some stuck around for a long time, others just passed by and I did not have the chance to get to know them as much as I wished. From all I have learned. I have learned about different languages and foods, about magic and about religions, I have learned about different cultures, about different experiences and lives. However, what I have learned most of all, is how important it is not to forget to look at the world from different perspectives. I have always known that mine is one of countless points of views, but this experience showed me once again how enriching it is to listen to others

I go back home with my backpack full of memories, of eyes, of smiles, of experiences and of stories. I go back home feeling richer and eager to listen, to learn from others.
